Once upon a beautiful summer, a joyful synthesizer nerd named Nativo went on a Parkour expedition from the streets of Rome to the South of France. On his arrival, he stumbled across three Reptilians sunbathing, and from their encounter was born the EP you are about to buy.The A-side showcases the ecstatic earworm anthem Afterlove and the serious moody roller Noclimb. The B-side kicks off with Happyfunny, a track that lives up to its name, and concludes with the quirky lullaby Saz. To sum it up: nrv fraté, ciao ragazzi.

Aline Umber’s highly anticipated “Album Part II” delves deeper into electronic music, blending deep grooves with creative soundscapes. This sequel introduces more dynamic rhythms and textured layers, building on its predecessor’s foundation. Composed from the raw energy of their performance for Automatic at Cabaret Sauvage in Paris, October 2023, the album features an ensemble of five musicians: Joachim Baumerder and Robin Antunes on strings, Leonard Le Cloarec on flute, Charly Doll on percussion, and Axel Gerard on electric guitar.In this second half of their album, Aline Umber showcases the eclectic side of their music by curating unique formations for each live show. The record includes two collaborative projects with their studio partners: ‘Emergency Live Cut’ with Maxime dB and ‘Bar 24’ with Krol.The opener, “Down to Earth,” taps into classic Chicago house vibes with soulful vocals over lush beats, offering both a nostalgic tribute and a fresh take. “Tell A Vision” follows as a quintessential Aline Umber track, mixing emotional synths with a compelling groove that blends past influences with futuristic sounds.A collaboration with Maxime dB, “Emergency” is a sonic standout, perfect for peak-time dancefloor energy with its intense rhythms. “Doin’ Acid” surprises with violinist Joachim Baumerder and Robin Antunes adding a classical touch to the acid house mix, creating a bold, innovative fusion.The album concludes with “Bar 24,” featuring Krol, highlighting a masterful synthesis of synths and subtle melodies, showcasing Aline Umber’s commitment to artistic diversity and collaboration.“Album Part II” isn’t just a set of tracks but a contemporary electronic music mosaic, painted with bold strokes by artists pushing the genre’s boundaries.
