Still just as finely-tuned and potent as he’s always been though, and this is no means a drastic departure from more recent work.Running tempestuous heaters from the eye of a storm, there’s a tough, menacing edge coursing throughout. Four decidedly Euro spins offering visions of dystopia and ominous portent, but we forge ahead unperturbed, headfirst into the shadowy void.Gone is the playfulness of releases past, set aside in favour of heat-seeking ballistics. Strapping accelerators big on drama while allowing space for a bit of dancefloor introspection. More of that all thrills, no frills kinda flex as the Frankfurt native goes about his business like it’s effortless.

As per usual 8 different artists with different musical backgrounds, inspired by different melodious influences which has resulted in this VA to take shape. All of the tracks featured on this double are in line with the label’s vision and demonstrate a vast range of sounds that can be used in many different settings. The art theme as always done by the legendary bad boy graffiti artist Gkoner, this time takes a theme of garden and its mysteries where he drew an inspiration from. The plants are overtaking giving their roots and even sometimes can absolutely capture and possess the host while trying to look so innocent. We know what you are up to plants and you cannot fool us.

In the spring of 2017, Ute held their first open-air gathering. Now, eight years later, they’re celebrating the 8th anniversary of Ute. The jubilee begins with the first of two special anniversary releases: a CD curated by co-founder Marius Bø, honoring Ute’s past, present, and future.

Following his debut solo EP as Dilly Bombastik, Dragoș Ilici returns to Tonomat with his first release under his own name — Mercy EP, a four-track trip that captures the evolving depth and character of his sound.On the A-side, “Rammer” kicks things off with a raw, percussive Detroit-inspired techno workout, anchored by a heavy sub and hypnotic drive.
