Zonate returns with its fourth release, The Areca EP, showcasing the unmistakable sound of Italian producer Shkedul. A name that’s caught the attention of top touring DJs, Shkedul brings a signature touch to each track - distinct, striking, and built to stand apart.

The A-side kicks off with Channel Z, a statement piece blending searing electro, a punchy kick, and haunting vocals - an instant head-turner. Following up, Discodancer leans into a driving techno groove, laced with acid lines and a bass built to shake big systems. Flipping to the B-side, Nothing Changes delivers a hypnotic techno tool, weaving between emotional pads and eerie leads, all carried by a relentless 4/4 pulse. Enrico Vivaldi steps in for the remix, reshaping the original into a more progressive, groove-infused vision, complete with intelligent vocal work and a slow-building intensity. With both Shkedul and Enrico Vivaldi gearing up for an exciting year of releases and gigs, The Areca EP cements their place as ones to watch.

After a 2 year gap Sticky Plastik presents its third VA with a new look and sound featuring dark disco flavoured minimal techno by Corsican artist P.O. on side A and progressive house collaboration of Chinese artist B.AI with Polish Marcelina, previously known as Marcelina Wick, on the side B.A1 with 'Dodo' by P.O is a touching and deep track resembling an emotional dark disco/techno melancholic story tale with a happy ending. Next is 'Arcade' a fast 80ties inspired minimal acid house beat recorded on a groovy and uplifting note.Flipping to the side B with progressive house ‘Homesick’ by B.ai and Marcelina combining Asian profoundness with Slavic edge. Picnic records deliver their most sonically enhanced edition so far with this exuberant offering from rising Italian star Shkedul. Each track features dominating elements that are quick to take the listener into a euphoric trance state . "Undisclosed", the opening track of the release hits hard and its progression builds up enigmatic tension with killer basslines and acid synths to match. "Serotonin Level" is the deepest of the selection and in many ways the most seductive. Hints of breaks and electro reign supreme throughout the track and are topped with an insatiable vocal that screams eat me. On the flip side, "Find Yourself" rightly so, commands its own side. Futuristic synths, addictive acid bass lines and a perfectly balanced structure enhance the dreamy hypothesis of the track and record as a whole.
New London-based label Plasticity Records hits the ground running with a hard-hitting, dancefloor-focused VA featuring four varied tracks, connected by a raw, propulsive sound thread running throughout.Kicking off the A side is established Barcelona-based duo Nulek & Roto with Eternal Space — a stuttering, pitch-black techno/electro piece featuring an ominous vocal that sends shivers down your spine. Rounding out this side is Study Nights by Uruguayan talent Flhez, leaning heavily into the country’s rich musical tradition with plenty of spooky synths and rough analogue textures.Over on the B side, Barcelona-based Romanian Mar.C delivers Not Normal — a tough-as-nails, EBM-tinged techno number that’s sure to get any dancefloor moving. Last up is the broken and decidedly wonky Nuclear Era from Lima-based Venezuelan purveyor of all things percussive and leftfield, Acid Charlie.
