Prozpektiva continues with the aim of shining a light on new and up & coming artists. For our second release we present a hidden gem of an artist, Miles Ellis, a US based producer who delivers a raw, punchy and authentic EP featuring stripped back grooves and spacey sounds.
Presenting release number 23 from our home label with an under-the-radar Italo breaky burner by 4 Pleasure. Originally recorded for Planet Earth (the sub-label of Bianco & Nero) in '93 but only pressed and released in low amounts at the time it's hard to believe it was produced so long ago. Super fresh beats, minimal percussion, big basslines and epic chords make you curious about what's about to happen next. Featuring 4 tracks, the original, the instrumental (which never appeared on vinyl before) and 2 more downtempo remixes it feels like the kind of soundtrack to wild, lavish, Ibiza villa parties in the mid 90's. Futuristic emotional chillout.
Prozpektiva reaches its fifth release so far, and on this special occasion, we are proud to present the rising talent from Ukraine - Aliana. With a remarkable debut on Variable Records in 2021, swiftly followed by a standout LP (an album for only her second release) for Finest Hour, and a series of co-produced tracks under the alias Midibasics, Aliana now brings us her latest four-track solo EP. Get ready for dubby grooves, plenty of swing, and some serious heads-down action.
REZ16sixteen coming right up on our home label Rezpektiva this time featuring UK duo Forces Of Nature (Paul Chambers & Anthony Reeves). After producing many a good record for the 'Clean Up' label, singles and albums also followed alongside releases on LTJ Bukem’s Earth series and their own Tundra Records imprint (check this out). This EP (Jupiter) was originally recorded for Passenger Records the label from Aquasky back in '98 and has been fully remastered. It's a totally unique sound - future junglist breaks and techno sounds, while simultaneously reaching back to the jazz of the 60s and the soul grooves of the 70s and 80s for inspiration.
The 22nd release on Anthea’s sought after Partisan label comes from Dutch duo, PH Project. The Picnic Records affiliates have blossomed in recent times, and rightly so, their tight productions make them a firm favourite and the “Edge Of Impact” EP pays testament to this fact. Infectious club room energy that showcases not only their innovative sound, but their incredible chemistry as artists, an animated blend of low end leaning house and techno on the established London/Berlin label.PH Project delivers another exciting output, a statement release preparing you for what is to come...
