Born as a festival that has welcomed performers such as Onur Özer, Hicham, and P.O to Cyprus; Ophan extends its roots into new sonic ground by launching its label with a four-tracker from Turin’s own virtuoso, Otis.Otis’ passion has led to solo releases for esteemed labels such as Partisan, EYA, and Exarde as well as collaborations and participations on V/A EPs’ with beloved artists such as Innershades, Derek Carr, Munir Nadir, LVCA, and Dawl among others.OPH001 named ’Synthology’ is true to Otis’ spirit of delivering alluring peak-time dancefloor cuts as well as mellow explorations while drawing influence from a plethora of sounds ranging from rock and roll, funk, and synth-pop. The release marks the inception of Lithos, a series that will form the cornerstone of the label.

Opik delve further into the DAT archives and come up with another two unreleased tracks in ‘Hear My Mind' and ‘Kaulsoum (Ambient Mix)’ which derive from the same recording sessions as their self-titled debut LP from 1994. Two dazzling downtempo tracks in limited edition vinyl with no repress.
