Orientation is proud to present its very first release. Teik Arô is a gifted producer from Italy currently living in Berlin. Originally focusing on rave-oriented acid techno, where he found his audience, he shows a complete other side of his personality, proposing a strong release going from club techno sounds to liquid melodic drum and bass.

SPF 50 aka Stephan Kimbel has been working the club circuit in NYC and abroad for years now. His approach to techno often incorporates breakbeats and a psychedelic attention to sound design details. He has released killer 12”s on Dzungla, Bliss Point, and his own label, Professional Music. Fixed Rhythms is now excited to present his latest 12” EP offering–”The Rush”.The titular track, an acid breakbeat techno party starter for the heads, absolutely breaks down the door of the A-side. A2 “Deep Woods” descends into tasty, wiggly, spacious techno. B1 “Kinetic Ritual” is just that…you have arrived in the Zone, a dark corridor leading straight to One and Everyone. Then B2 “UV Got Me Faded” whips you wonky with a modular drumless wobble slap. This is well-crafted dance music that can plunge any crowd into the deep end.

The second single-artist EP on Nuances de Nuit comes courtesy of the ever impressive Velvet Velour, releasing four intricately-produced, enchanting pieces of electronic music out into the universe.

Pyatigorsk-born dynamo b0n dishing out some naughty breaks for his debut on X-Kalay sub-label, Another Place.Four distinct traxxx going from full-blown seismic tremors to lithe, dreamier fare. A love letter to the halcyon days of ‘90s hardcore, perhaps?Synths darting (just how we like ‘em), ragga vocal samples enhancing that UK kinda feel. First track sounds a bit like something you might have heard in some disused airplane hangar circa ’92.Kicking off with a trio of straight-to-the-point accelerators and closing on some lush, levitational gear. Hi-octane rave utopia or blistering ride into oblivion? You decide. He said not to mess with his breaks. Nuff said really.
