Barbatus D. is a new label directed by Solar Punk from Quinoa Experience, that follows a legend about a great pirate - Captain Barbatus D. Wreckords and the storms he’s been through.The adventures and revelations in The New World are musically translated by a Liverpool pirate whom sailors call Brent. The sea shanties are composed with elements inspired by the 80’s electro, seasoned with dramatic synths, melodic baselines, and ghostly vocals.This musical odyssey was pressed on vinyl and is on its way to your local record stores. Be sure not to miss the written story of Captain’s adventures on a note that is hidden in the record’s sleeve, written by Jim Hall himself.

What would be our endeavour as humans without music you may ask? Well, we wouldn't know since Acoustic Vision has clearly taken care of that task and carefully curated the material to take form, from his imagination, through a lovely selection.Uplifting vibes layered on top of a pumping baseline make from the first track, the reason you'll find yourself incapable to resist dancing, almost like in a trance you'll organically drift driven by 'Peyote Country Club'. A sense of urgency will install throughout your body once the needle hits 'Human Endeavour', for what exactly is for your spirit to decide, but carried by the tribal feeling the fact is undeniable. Following through, the air gets more relaxed with 'Every pleasure, every sin'. Even with such relentless percussion the listener will still get a sensation of calm, mainly induced by the dreamlike pads and optimistic keys. Drift, drift away with A.C. and let yourself get carried away. It's always interesting to witness how new and old meet together, and from this perspective, this record changes the mood through the hands of the Italian craftsman, Ivan Iacobucci.
