Bristol-based, vinyl-only imprint Sex Tapes From Mars continues its voyage through the cosmos of underground electronic music with Suburbia head-honcho, Cam Stockman. His latest EP, “All Juiced Out”, is a raw, hypnotic four-tracker, and deep-dive into the world of vintage analogue synthesis, acid-drenched basslines, and sensual vocal hooks - a bold statement from an artist unafraid to push boundaries. Opening with “Dreams In The RS,” Stockman sets a sharp, pacey, retro-futuristic oxymoron tone, blending dreamy swirling pads and bells, with driving, squelchy rhythms.The momentum builds and bellows with “Chicktikka,” a frenetic fusion of skittering percussion patterns, infectious bass grooves, and sexy vocal cuts. His Shortcut EP for the label steps out of his comfort zone while retaining his unmistakable signature sound. Tommy Vicari Jnr offers a hypnotic journey, driven by a wobbly bassline that’s bound to keep the groove going strong. Jamm Records was responsible for a sleuth of underground sleeper hits during the early 90's with label owner Nick Woolfson contributing to the production process on quite a few of them. Alongside his studio partner Mark Shimmon they serve up a banging two tracker titled 'AmaZone' with two slightly different mixes for two different occasions. Hands in the air ? or deep & dubby ?
